Itinerary
Day 1 - Fethiye to St Nicholas Island
Located in central Fethiye? We will pick you up from your hotel around 10am to meet in the office for check in. For other locations located out of central Fethiye, please meet at the office. We head to the boat for a briefing about your cruise before launching off into the blue pristine waters of the Mediterranean.
The journey takes us to Butterfly Valley first for hiking up to see the waterfall and seeing a beautiful untouched landscape. Around lunch we will be moored in Oludeniz. Guests have the option of doing paragliding here for an extra cost.
The last stop of the day is St Nicholas Island and where we will also anchor down for the night. For a small entrance fee, guests can enter St Nicholas Island and venture through the ruins dispersed over the island and head to the highest point to watch a magnificent sunset. (L,D)
Day 2 - St Nicholas Island to Kas
While you sleep, the captain will steer the yacht towards Kas. On the way, we will anchor in Aquarium Bay for a delicious breakfast spread. Enjoy a morning swim before we come into Kas harbour. Cobbled stone alleyways, friendly locals and charming shops await guests in this town. There is even an ancient theatre located to the west of the town center.
In the afternoon, we will cruise to our overnight stop in the Kekova region. (B,L,D)
Day 3 - Kas to Gokkaya Bay
The Sunken City, an ancient town dating back to the Lycian period submerged after an earthquake in the 2nd century, is first on the list today. We view this site from the gulet as we slowly cruise past. We then disembark the gulet at Kekova to visit Simena Castle overlooking the whole region. Lunch will also be served here.
In the afternoon we anchor down in Gokkaya Bay, our overnight stop. This is a haven for turtles and partygoers. A bar located a short distance is a great mixer for all the boats in the area. (B,L,D)
Day 4 - Gokkaya Bay to Demre
A nice, relaxing morning to ease you into your day. We depart for Demre harbour after breakfast. Some of the tours passengers may depart at this point. For those like yourself staying on for the week journey there is time to visit the centre of Demre, the Ancient City of Myra and also St Nicholas Church. There is a vast history here, take time to bask in it.
New guests will join the gulet, we will have lunch and then we will cruise back into the Kekova region. Please note that this tour is a mix of the 4 day Fethiye to Olympos and Olympos to Fethiye meaning you will do many of the same sites as you did on the way to Demre on your return to Fethiye. Smaller bays and overnight stops may vary.
We return to Simena Castle, the Sunken City and stay overnight in Gokkaya Bay. (B.L,D)
Day 5 - Gokkaya Bay to Liman Agzi or Firnaz Bay
Today we motor back into Kas, for some more shopping and exploring or you may prefer to just sit back and relax in one of the cafes. Why not take a stroll to the east of the town this time and find great rock landings for a spot of sunbaking and swimming. Scuba diving is also available again at this point as an additional activity.
Tonight we lay claim to a beautiful bay near Kalkan to enjoy our dinner and sleep under the stars. (B,L,D)
Day 6 - Firnaz Bay or Liman Agzi to St Nicholas Island
As you rise from your slumber, notice the view you fell asleep to last night has now changed. Guests can expect to wake to the Taurus Mountain range as you pull into Butterfly Valley. Butterfly Valley looks spectacular at this time of the morning. We enjoy breakfast and then enjoy a nice early morning swim or can head onto land for some more exploring.
We will travel to Oludeniz for lunch and guests can choose to paraglide as an optional activity here. Ice cream boats will also visit for an afternoon snack.
We will continue onto St Nicholas Island to spend our last night out on the water. This time round why not try out the range of water sports or have a taste of local gozleme, a Turkish pancake made fresh on the little fishing boats getting around the bay. (B,L,D)
Day 7 - St Nicholas Island to Fethiye
St Nicholas Island lays claim to plenty of fish, on your last morning a spot of fishing may be in order to cook up for lunch. We have breakfast and a morning swim before we cruise to the last bay of our trip. We enjoy lunch (possibly a fish that you caught in the morning), have a swim and then return into Fethiye harbour where we finish our tour.
