Itinerary
Day 1 - Fethiye to St Nicholas Island
Guests staying in central Fethiye will be picked up and transferred to the office around 10am. Those located elsewhere will need to meet at the office. You will be taken to your gulet and given a briefing about your cruise. Then the gulet will launch into the blue depths of the Mediterranean for your Fethiye to Demre cruise. The first stop is Butterfly Valley, the home of over 136 species for moths and butterflies. We explore the region before heading to Oludeniz, the most photographed beach in the world. A spectacular site can be witnessed here with all the paragliders majestically making their way through the sky. Paragliding is an optional activity on this tour.
Our captain will take the gulet through the Taurus Mountains to moor near St Nicholas Island. Pay a small fee to enter and discover the ruins that envelop the island and then head to the top to watch the sun drop away between the mountains. (B,L,D)
Day 2 - St Nicholas Island to Kas
Dawn brings a new day and a new location to wake up to for breakfast. We enjoy a breakfast spread in Aquarium Bay before heading into Kas harbour. Kas is an ideal place for exploring. To the west of the town lies an ancient theatre and to the east many small beautiful swimming spots. Stay in the centre of town and be amazed by the numerous stores dedicated to unique silver jewellery. Scuba diving is also an optional activity here.
Tonight is spent in the Kekova region. (B,L,D)
Day 3 - Kas to Demre
This morning the gulet will journey further into the Kekova region passing the Greek Island of Meis. See an ancient city more than 2000 years old submerged in water at the Sunken City of Kekova and then climb to the top of Simena Castle to overlook the neighbouring islands. Lunch will be served in this bay. After lunch you will be transferred to Demre harbour by a small service boat.
